A native of Buffalo, NY (lake effect snow…need we say more), Marin began calling Statesville home several decades ago, after a good ole Southern boy stole her heart while working a summer job on a Colorado dude ranch. When asked, Marin will tell you she’s most proud of her husband of 25 years, their daughter (21) and son (19), and the fact that she can keep up a house with three dogs. Marin enjoys abstract art, a well-manicured lawn (even though hers is not), personal development books (sprinkled with crime or espionage), the Power Thoughts Devotional her mom shares with her daily, good laughs with friends, a glass (or two) of wine, and, of course, a nap on the porch during a summer storm.
